Scaling Protocols: Eduardo Castillo-Vinuesa

Moving Image, Valences of Enclosure, Eduardo Castillo -Vinuesa, Benj Gerdes

On October 16, Eduardo Castillo-Vinuesa will join Carmen Lael Hines at TU Wien for a conversation around his architectural, curatorial, and educational work.
This lecture is part of the design studio Madrid Vienna: Gallery Culture, thought by Wilfried Kuehn, Carlos Mombiela, Carmen Lael Hines.

The conversation is connected to What Does It Take to Make Weather? A Brief, Incomplete History of Skycraft, presented by NeverAtHome at the Funkhaus (Argentinierstraße 30, 1040 Wien) later that same evening. The session explores our evolving relationship with the atmosphere, from early meteorological instruments and systems of observation to cloud seeding, digital simulations, and geoengineering, considering the sky as a space of technological intervention, political negotiation, and ecological uncertainty.

Followed by the exhibition opening and talk at Funkhaus, 6:00 pm.
