Full professor of landscape architecture at Harvard and Versailles, and architecture in Paris, Rouen, Lyon, and Rennes, guest professor at UDM Montreal, TU Vienna BIOS department (2005–2011); since 2017, guest professor at EnsaLaRéunion.
As a writer, he has published 24 books on art, architecture, and urban planning, including “Mieux avec Moins” (Better with Less) in 2021 and “Frugalité. Un récit heureux” (Frugality: A Happy Story) in 2024.
