that are dying out and the attempt to replace them.
Gregor Eichinger, born in 1956,
studied architecture at the TU Vienna
and was professor at the ETH Zürich and
at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich.
Prior to that, he taught as a visiting professor
at various architecture universities
like Angewandte Vienna or Sci-Arc Los Angeles.
Together with Christian Knechtl
he founded 1983 the architectural office
“Eichinger oder Knechtl”.
2005 he founded “eichinger offices” –
Büro für die Benutzeroberfläche der Architektur.
