The diploma seminar focuses on the topic of daylight in rooms.
In exhibition spaces, museums and galleries, the protection of exhibits plays a significant role alongside atmospheric components. Presentation, production and archiving tasks require different approaches, which will be explored.
Daylight promotes health and influences the well-being of users. The visual perception of exhibits, light protection and the atmosphere in the room must be coordinated.
The seminar is dedicated to the basics of lighting design, researching selected in-depth topics and narrowing down the focus of the work.
The structure of the work, the approach to the design, the detailed elaboration, schedule, presentation and graphics are discussed.
The aim is to prepare students for a diploma thesis focusing on staged rooms with daylight.
