The winter semester 2026/27 will focus on the topic of publications—specifically, analysis and appropriation.
During the seminar, each participant will design a “booklet,” with the emphasis on the form of presentation and choice.
Aim of the lecture:
Twelve selected individuals will be analyzed by the students, and the respective focal points will be translated into a publication.
The result will be 12–13 “appropriations” and a corresponding publication.
The emphasis will be on:
– Analysis of architectural representations and their inspiration
– Application of representation techniques: drawings, collage, rendering etc.
– Narrative structure, division of the page, picture composition
– How do I start with a layout?
– Depiction and curating of one’s own working process
– Introduction into exhibition formats – the display as a joint connecting element
